"The City of Roses" is part of the Canadian province of Ontario and is the southeastern most city in Canada. It is located just south of Detroit, Michigan, marking it as the only border where one must travel north to cross over from Canada to the United States. Known for its large parks and numerous gardens on the waterfront, one of Windsor's most prominent attractions is Coventry Gardens. The Gardens contain the Charles Brooks Memorial Peace Fountain that actually floats in the Detroit River, symbolizing the peaceful relationship between the U.S. and Canada. The Odette Sculpture Park, The Art Gallery of Windsor, Ojibway Park and Point Pelee National Park are a few more popular spots.
