Community Involvement

Vacations To Go helps our community, both locally and globally, by supporting the following organizations: Child Advocates,
the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, Houston SPCA, Houston Food Bank, Second Baptist Church, Baker Ripley, Memorial
Assistance Ministries, the Star of Hope Mission, the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and Samaritan's Purse.

Vacations To Go is a long-standing platinum sponsor of Child Advocates, Inc, a local organization that mobilizes court-appointed volunteers to break the vicious cycle of child abuse. We help Child Advocates speak up for abused children who are lost in the system and guide them into safe environments where they can thrive.
Vacations To Go supports the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International and their goals of 1) daily protection of the endangered mountain gorilla, 2) scientific research, 3) education of local conservationists and 4) local community support.
Vacations To Go champions animal welfare by supporting the Houston SPCA, Houston's first and largest animal protection organization, offering the region's most comprehensive, highly-qualified care and services to animals in need.
Vacations To Go is a proud supporter of the Houston Food Bank. The Food Bank distributes 104 million meals annually in southeast Texas, feeding 800,000 individuals each year.
Vacations To Go supports Second Baptist Church and their many outreach programs that assist needy people in the greater Houston area.
Vacations To Go backs BakerRipley, a local charity connecting low-income families and individuals to opportunity so they can achieve the life they've imagined. BakerRipley believes that our neighborhoods are bridges to opportunity, that people can transform communities and that everyone everywhere has something to contribute.
Vacations To Go donates to Memorial Area Ministries (MAM) whose mission is to assure that families have the means to meet their basic needs. MAM offers programs enabling long-term financial self-sufficiency and helps families facing financial crisis to avoid homelessness, among other services.
Vacations To Go happily helps the Star of Hope mission, a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and their children. Positive life-changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life-management and recovery from substance abuse.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Florence, Vacations To Go donated to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, a nonprofit organization serving a network of over 800 agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries and shelters supporting the hardest hit counties, cities and towns in North Carolina, including New Bern and Wilmington.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Florence, Vacations To Go donated to Samaritan's Purse, a North Carolina-based charity with global reach that mobilized hundreds of volunteers in New Bern, Wilmington and Jacksonville, NC to help in the critical and dirty job of removing mud and wet flooring, furniture and drywall from flooded homes to discourage the growth of dangerous mold.
