Malolo Island lies to the south of the Yasawa islands and is part of Fiji's Mamanuca island group. The Mamanuca Islands are a volcanic archipelago consisting of 20 islands, but 7 of them are so low that they're covered by the Pacific Ocean at high tide. Malolo Island is the center of tourism for the Mamanuca island group. The area is known for excellent snorkeling and scuba diving, with an abundance of tropical fish inhabiting local reefs. Relax on the beach or in a hammock, go hiking, canoeing or diving or visit the local Fijian village of Yaro.
