Formerly the Regal Princess, Pacific Dawn was designed by architect Renzo Piano, known for the Pompidou Center in Paris, and was created to resemble a dolphin moving through the water. The ship's hallmark is the Dome--an observation lounge with panoramic views that transforms into a cabaret venue and disco at night. Bengal Bar, a lively after-dinner spot, sports a British India theme with leather and rattan furniture, brass and wood accents, ceiling fans and potted plants. Adagio is a more intimate lounge offering cocktails and soft piano music. The Lido Deck is home to two pools (one with a waterfall and swim-up bar), a pizzeria and cafe serving breakfast and lunch buffets. Characters, also on the Lido, is a bar that offers inventive specialty drinks.
