The Island Princess, the sister ship to the Coral Princess, was built to Panamax size which means she can offer you the exclusive experience of sailing through the Panama Canal! A high percentage of staterooms give passengers the chance to view this feat of engineering up-close, or take in stunning views of spectacular glaciers during cruises to Alaska.
Fabulous views from the Lotus Spa complement massage therapy, fitness classes or visits to the sauna. Take your choice of poolside environments: near the spa, on the Lido Deck near a bar and pizzeria or at the splash pool on the Sports Deck. Adults can also relax at the Sanctuary, an adults-only retreat. Younger passengers have their own pool in the child and teen recreation area. Additional features include a golf simulator and nine-hole putting course, Internet cafe, library, fine art gallery and various bars and lounges. A wedding chapel houses ceremonies at sea. Dine in the specialty restaurants -- Sabatini's or New Orleans-style Bayou Cafe & Steakhouse -- or in the dining room before a show in one of three theaters or gaming in the casino.
Princess will automatically add $15.50 per day, per suite guest, $14.50 per day, per mini-suite guest and $13.50 per day, per non-suite guest to your onboard account. These amounts can be adjusted onboard. A 15% tip is added to all bar charges, dining room wine accounts and Lotus Spa services.
