Australia Cruises

For discounted Australia cruises, click .

An Australian cruise shows passengers the scenic beauty of the land Down Under. On Australian cruises, you can explore sophisticated cities, visit wildlife parks or take an excursion to the Great Barrier Reef for snorkeling, scuba diving or sailing.

Most Australian cruises visit New Zealand as well, and some Australia/New Zealand cruises also make calls in Asia. Each year, there are a few long cruises to Australia from ports on the US mainland, such as New York or Los Angeles.

  • The Australia/New Zealand cruise season is October through March

  • Most Australia/New Zealand cruises are 12 to 16 days

  • If you fly from North America to Australia to begin your Australian cruise, you will cross the International Dateline and lose a day. Furthermore, your flight will take nearly an entire day. This requires that you leave your hometown for your port of departure at least two days in advance of your Australian cruise. However, we suggest that you leave three or four days before your cruise. This will give you time to rest and get oriented before boarding the ship. Most Australia cruise lines offer pre-cruise hotel packages.
